Correct affiliation details

Unique designation of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München

Bibliometric evaluation of your publications

The University Library supports you in analyzing and evaluating your publication behavior. LMU Munich provides its members with several databases for bibliometric surveys:

• the publication and citation database Web of Science,
• the Incites database, which is based on it, for a more comprehensive research evaluation, and
• the Journal Citation Reports, which can be used to determine the journal impact factor of a journal.

The freely accessible database Open Alex is also recommended for bibliometric analyses. As an LMU member, you can also request publication and citation analyses from the University Library.

Your publication lists

Manage your scientific publications centrally via the Open Access LMU repository and benefit from automatically generated publication lists on your personal LMU website and the export of publication details to your ORCID profile. To do this, enter your publications on Open Access LMU and your personal LMU ID in the appropriate place. By linking to your personal LMU ID, the bibliographic information of your publications can then be mirrored on the web page. If copyright regulations allow, you can deposit the full text of your publication in the repository, but this is not necessary.

You can also transfer the publication list for your institute or department via the Open Access LMU repository.
